Web-Portal of Electronic Services of the Pension Fund
Overview
The Web-Portal of Electronic Services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, which was launched in 2013, already has more than 21 million users while the Pension Fund mobile application has been used by 1.4 million since 2019.
It gives convenient and prompt information, for example, on income and the total pensionable years.
The functions of the portal include the following:
- receiving data from your employment record e-book and the e-file as well as other data from the Register of Insured Persons;
- controlling payment of insurance contributions by the employer;
- filing an application for granting or recalculating the pension, the housing and utilities subsidy or benefit, issuing the pension certificate etc.;
- paying voluntary contributions to pension insurance.
The most popular service is getting a certificate via the QR code. Thus, more than 4.9 certificates were generated upon the users’ request as of September 2024.
Moreover, the personal account on the web-portal offers such services as the Pension Calculator, which enables calculating the future pension and the retirement age, and the sick leave e-certificate. Owing to the latter, the employer has access to work incapacity e-certificates of its employees in the personal account, including the number and the date of opening and closing the e-certificate. Since it was launched in 2021, more than 25.7 million sick leave e-certificates have been generated in the Electronic Register of Work Incapacity Certificates.
