To the adopters and families with other forms of care
Family is the only environment in which a child can fully and harmoniously develop and feel safe.
There are various ways to welcome into your family a child who has permanently or temporarily lost parental care. Follow the links to learn more about adoption, family-based forms of care (guardianship/custody, foster family, family-type children’s home), as well as child patronage services.
For information on social benefits, services, and other forms of assistance available to orphans, children deprived of parental care, and the families raising them, see the end of each section.
